On a windy sunny day Donnie Hendershot flew like a wind to fly to finish first in the season opening race.

Heats kicked off the show with John Scarborough and Daren Bolac taking wins.

Feature time was up as the sun was gone and the winds died down with Donnie Hendershot and Jerald Harris pacing the field to green.

Hendershot used the low line to gain the lead with Harris staying high but John Scarborough was already in the opening laps using the low line and was on Harris quickly.

Scarborough made it to second as Hendershot continued out front with the laps winding down as traffic was coming up allowing Scarborough to close in.

With the white flag waving Scarborough was within striking distance as he made the final push but Hendershot stayed strong streaking under the waving checkered flag.

At the line it was Donnie Hendershot, John Scarborough, Jerald Harris, Caleb Harris, Matthew Leach, Dylan Shatzer, Daren Bolac, Glenn Worrell, Aaron Leach, Mia Koponen, Chris Humblet, Jimmy Humblet and French Grimes.
