The first race of the year showed that Joe Leavell had not lost his touch from his winning ways last year at Natural Bridge as he wasted no time going to the front and was on a rail to take the win.

Heats kicked off the night with Daren Bolac taking heat one and Aylssa Rowe taking heat two.
Daren Bolac and Caleb Harris paced the field to green and Bolac and Harris stayed glued nose to tail until Harris moved to the front running the higher line.

Leavell would show how strong he was by going around Bolac and working on Harris right away.
The laps clicked away on the caution free feature but nobody was going to hold Leavell from going to the front as the chasing pack would keep him insight but never make a challenge even in traffic as he cruised under the waving checkered flag.

At the line it was Joe Leavell, Caleb Harris, Daren Bolac, John Scarborough, Alyssa Rowe, Aaron Leach, Matthew Leach, Chris Ware, French Grimes, John Smith, Matt Mullins and Jerald Harris.
