On the first warm night the Virginia Sprint Series took to the Carolina coast speedway for it’s first Fast Friday event of the year and CJ Faison came out on top. Heats kicked off the night with Lance Christie and CJ Faison taking wins before it was off to the feature. CJ Faison and Billy Hubbard paced the field to green with Faison sticking to the bottom with Hubbard and Jerald Harris right behind. Faison tried to get away and at first it was working but Jerald Harris made his way to second and after a spinner caused a caution tightening the field Harris would stay right there. Laps were clicking off as Lance Christie made his way to third with Harris still stuck to Faison but laps were going by fast and all he could do was to get close as waving checkered flags flew over CJ Faison.

At the line it was CJ Faison, Jerald Harris, Lance Christie, Billy Hubbard, Daren Bolac, Garth Palmer, Chris Humblet, Glenn Worrell, Aaron Leach, Bill Mullis, Matt Mullins, Chris Ware, Matthew Leach and Caleb Harris.
